My comment on the latest SGA was: so the purpose of this episode was to set up a giant intergalatic multi-dimensional parallel-universe MacGuffin?!
I think the actual purpose of the episode was to set up footage for the cast and crew's demo reels as they begin looking for new jobs.
NBCU is most definitely creating a Blu-Ray DVD release for the entire BATTLESTAR GALACTICA series once it ends this year. Exact content of the box is unknown…but several special commentary items have recently been recorded with Ron Moore and some of the other writer/producers.

I have to ask, why?
In the podcasts I've listened to that he has done, she has not added anything at all to the commentary. In fact, I would argue that she seriously detracted from his comments. This was last season and perhaps the season before.
Oh, I've only heard the commentaries from the seasons 1-3.1, I think. She did not appear on them.
I only listened to one with her on it, and she had some interesting things to say about costume design and actors, as she is a costume designer. However, I work in costumes too, so I might be the wrong person to judge and maybe I caught her on a good day (she didn't say much except for about the costumes).

the eps I heard with her on it: 1) she was commenting on how brilliant her husband was and that she didn't like some of the comments she'd been reading about the show on the 'net
2) she kept interrupting him with bullshit (complaining about him smoking, etc.)
3) she commented on the plot in such an asinine way, I wondered if she'd really been paying attention to the series.
Yikes! Not good!
