Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Ah, I've only seen through 7 on Sci-fi so far.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I've seen 8 on youtube and 10 seems to be up, but no 9 yet.

Art Crawl!!!

9 wasn't released. Amazon was forced to take the pre-released ones down but not before people put them up on youtube.

OK, I've seen 8 now. I'm good. I couldn't find 9 either, quester.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So did anyone else watch the latest SGA?

... because honestly, that's the only way they could put Earth at risk from the Wraith? Having a Wraith in an alternate reality send a message?

I love AUs, and I found that boring. Also repetitive: SG-1 used that concept back in season one.

JenP - Jan 04, 2009 3:22:17 pm PST #6015 of 30001

I really liked it, and it's the first ep of SGA I haven't been bored with in a while. Also, there's one ep left, right? Seems as efficient a way as any to get the Wraith threat amped up quickly, assuming that's the plan.

Kind of weird that there's only one ep left, but this season really hasn't done much for me, so I guess I'm pretty well resigned.

It is odd to have only one show left (Eureka) on Sci-fi that I'm watching after BSG ends. Well, I hope to be back when Caprica airs the pilot or mini or whatever it is. And they're doing a BSG movie? Or is that what they're calling the big finale? I'm so out of the loop.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I liked SGA too, much more than normal. I'm irritated that that's how they bring the Wraith to Earth for the series finale, but other than that I loved John and Rodney (and Zelenka) much more than normal.

Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed the musical accompaniment during the entire ep.

Art Crawl!!!

I really enjoyed the episode - the music, John and McKay - the whole c.s.i. deal. If only they could have brought in Brass.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It was angry making that they completely excluded the non-caucasian regulars from the episode despite establishing that these people had traveled to Atlantis and come back. TPTB can include Big Pussy and Walter-fucking-Harriman in the story, but Teyla and Ronon would be too difficult to explain?!?

But despite that lack, what was aired was mostly entertaining. And very, very pretty.
