Hee! It's all the right kind of scary. I think I mentioned this at the time, but D. took a gorgeous picture of a flower framed against a stone angel that we have framed on the wall. It's sentimental already; it was taken at the hospital where my grandmother died.
But now, bonus terrifying! It's a lovely shot, with the flower in near focus, making the angel statue blurry. Which makes me feel like I can't quite see it and therefore it's out to get me!
Mmm, Blink.
It's blurry because it's
moving.
Ha! I just watched the Avatar with the fortune teller and the volcano. The little girl with the crush on Aang, at the end - "Take care...floosie."
Yes!! Love that episode. I wasn't exceptionally fond of it the first time I saw it (despite the presence of one of my favorite exchanges in the entire series, which I used as a tagline), but it grew on me. Now I love it for the comedy.
Trivia! The voice actress for Meng (the little girl) comes back to voice the awesomeness that is Toph.
I just finished rewatching "Midnight." That's also very simply scary, just a person talking at the same time as you are. But, she's stealing your words and through them, your power, or rather, the Doctor's power. Very creepy!
Wrod!
And PC beats me to the punch on the Jessie Flower thing. She's a cracking wee voice actress, and Toph is Made Of Awesome.
...I do love the bit where Fortune Teller Lady is all: OMGWTFHugeEpicDoomyDoom!!!! FateOfTheWorldInYourHands!!! And Aaang is all: Yeah, yeah, Once In Every Generation A Slayern Avatar Is Chosen, One Girl Kid In All The World blahdeblahblah doomcakes - this I know already - but what about my love life??? Huh? Huh?
Holy Frak!
Robert Carlyle is going to star in
Stargate Universe.
Okay, that's a show that I was going to give a miss . . . but now I must watch it.
Oh my God, he's going to be playing the McKay v2.0 authorial insert that the writers are currently panting and moaning over. What happens if your acting blows the roof off when you're in a vacuum?
It's official, the only thing that can get me to watch this thing now is if they make Major Lorne the grizzled military vet.
