Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Every time I see that style of statue in the background of another show, I want to shout "Look out, [character]! Don't blink!"

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I would so buy a weeping angel statue for my garden if I saw one on offer.

Actually, I'd like to get two in slightly different poses, just for the opportunity to play some serious mind games with any Who fans who might be visiting.

I don't know you people. I'm both creeped out and amused, and quite sure I'll never visit any one of you.

Then again, throwing a cat at my general direction would have the same effect on me, so it's a win-lose/lose-win situation.

Man. and I thought Buffistas are here to help me with life, not to get it more complicated.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

"Blink" encapsulates what I so very much love about Doctor Who--the ability to take bits of string and paper and random junk and plungers and make it scary as all fuck. That is a talent that ought to be properly appreciated.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Trust me, I fully appreciate stuff that make me shiver for days after encountering them.

Steven Moffat's writing is now on that list.

Are you my mummy?

'nuff said, eh?

That didn't scare me. That was just annoying with a pinch of wtf over it.

And for some reason, now reminds me of Connor.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

A poster somewhere (maybe TwoP?) said that her dad coincidentally moved a stone angel statue into her backyard garden without telling her the morning after she first saw "Blink." You can imagine how well that was received.

Man, said in the right tone, that can still creep me the fuck out. As if gas masks didn't already, thanks Sandman.

I just finished rewatching "Midnight." That's also very simply scary, just a person talking at the same time as you are. But, she's stealing your words and through them, your power, or rather, the Doctor's power. Very creepy!
