A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The Great Lakes actually have some lighthouses, IIRC -- they're actually Great enough to need them.
:: hums chorus of "Edmund Fitzgerald" ::
However, the show did specify sea caves, and I believe they had to wait for the tide so they could go exploring in them.
The Great Lakes also have tides. But "sea caves" to me does indicate an actual ocean.
I suspect the geography of Couer de Couers is similar to the geography of Sunnydale, where deserts, mountains, and oceans appear as needed for the narrative and then promptly vanish back into the aether.
Heck, my great-grandfather got shipwrecked in Lake Michigan. He became a bricklayer rather than go back to sailing.
Webisode FINALLY up.
But where the heck is today's clue?
Enhanced version of webisode - with commentary by Jane Espenson is also available.
Whoa. The Legend of the Seeker series comes fast and furious with the KLEE-shays. Then again, I suppose this particular hero's journey has been covered so many times, there really is no room for innovation.
I have to say though, LotS is much better than Merlin both production and acting-wise.
I read LotS as Life on the Streets.
Homicide: legend of the Seeker
would be a new twist to the franchise, tho.
That could be fun too, I suppose.
Yeah. I thought about the acronym as I was typing it but was too lazy to come up with an alternative.
I dunno, three eps into Seeker and I'm about to give up anyway. The effects are nice and I like the Gandolfian wizard guy well enough but, yawn.
There is also a lot of 'hey, it's that guy!' going on. Mostly folks who played in LOTR and Xena. Nice that the NZers are getting work.
eta: Something that bugs is how hard the NZers are striving to not have accents. I love that accent. Why is it so unsalable?
I love that about Da Vinci's Inquest no hiding accents there, boy.
However, the show did specify sea caves, and I believe they had to wait for the tide so they could go exploring in them.
Yeah, Lake Superior has some nifty water-level caves in the Apostle Islands, but tides, nsm.
