A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
With most sci-fi celebrities, I want to keep them insulated from the freakier side of fandom if possible, but that's based on wanting to avoid embarrassment on their part. In the past thirteen years I have never seen a single indication that John Barrowman is capable of feeling embarrassment, or even that he is aware of the concept in a theoretical sense.
He can see our craxy, and raise us.
As La Fay would say,
bless.
Yeah, for some reason, I'm kind of nonplussed by the idea of GDL reading fanfic.

I think maybe it's because we're not really going anywhere the show isn't going? It's not like any of the cast are going to look at the internet and think "Oh, my god, what are those people thinking?" We're thinking exactly what the show gives us.
IOTorchwoodN, spoilers for 208:
I loved this episode. LOVED. Burn Gorman is doing amazing, delicate, clever work, and I'm glad they've started writing up to his abilities. I think this whole season in general shows a better understanding of the cast, and they're playing to their strengths.
The episode
reminded me of Random Shoes, actually.
Ianto
continues to be hilarious with his FACES, and his "It's not like that," about him and Jack. They're clearly going somewhere with it, and at some point, someone is actually going to talk about this relationship.
I am dubious
about the preview for next week. Zombies and alien babies and shapeshifter's and Gwen's wedding and protestations of love (possibly aimed at Jack, but who knows, with a shapeshifter)?
freakier side of fandom
This phrase makes me smile. I just imagine trying to measure this and establishing the baseline.
He can see our craxy, and raise us.
And wear a beautiful smile while doing it.
Dana, I haven't seen this week's yet, but
OMG SO TRUE about Burn. I'm still not unconvinced that the character's basically a dick, but my S1 mixing up of dickish character and meh actor? Just, please, smack me upside the head
.
He's seriously
the best actor on the show. And you know how I feel about GDL.
so true. And not without competition
.
Yeah, for some reason, I'm kind of nonplussed by the idea of GDL reading fanfic.
Unless I'm reading you wrong, I think you mean
non-
nonplussed?
Good God, but season three of Who is wringing me out. Human Nature and Family of Blood made me weep like a baby for the Doctor and Blink was one of the most creeptastic episodes that didn't really have the Doctor in it. Some really great TV, there.
The screenplay for "Blink" made the Nebula final ballot.
(As did the screenplay for a "New Voyages" episode, heh.)
