A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

“Not dead yet!”

Not among Chuck's abilities, despite having enjoyed him having come up with a few non-intersect related ones in the last few weeks, is smooth or cool.

No, but dammit, he rocks adorably sincere.

Gary Cole was just the most perfect choice as Sarah's dad.

And who else laughed at Casey's over the top Treasury shtick?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I found that episode of SCC very boring. Was it just me? Not enough people I'm invested in, I guess. Though BAG with the baby was teh hawt.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

See, I wasn't bored. In fact the lack of John or Riley made it even more attractive to me, and I loved Lauren. She was fantastic, and now I want fic about her. They really laid on the parallels with Sarah heavily, but it works because now she's on the run with an infant waiting for Judgment Day, the way Sarah was.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hated her mother and father and felt sorry for her. But all the future scenes bored me--I think I hate Jesse, sadly enough. I wanted to like her. But something in her depiction fails me. I guess I'm tired of anger-management chicks with big guns.

There wasn't enough Lauren (I only found her okay) to counteract all that.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I loved Lauren. She was fantastic

I agree! She cracked us up. And she was cool. And cute.

I wasn't bored, but I was confused.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

so...since when is there a plague in the future?

I'm feeling like SCC is dancing around incoherence with regard to plotting.

a) they are changing the future

b) machines will kills us all

c) the plague will kill us too

so is the future being altered or not?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Well, it actually does make sense that the robots would try a variety of methods to kill off the humans. Though I'd guess sending the virus back in time doesn't work, because if you time it for before Skynet goes online, you prevent it from happening.

Timey-wimey stuff makes the baby Jesus cry.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, I thought that the plague was designed by the machines to kill off humans/rabbits.

(BTW, "apples?" Rhyming slang for. . . ?")

I liked Lauren - she also looked familiar but I don't know from what.

I think that season 1 is all pretty essential but I have a particular fondness for episodes featuring Derek. (Oh, the one where Cameron dances - that's excellent.)
