Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I loved Lauren. She was fantastic

I agree! She cracked us up. And she was cool. And cute.

I wasn't bored, but I was confused.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

so...since when is there a plague in the future?

I'm feeling like SCC is dancing around incoherence with regard to plotting.

a) they are changing the future

b) machines will kills us all

c) the plague will kill us too

so is the future being altered or not?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Well, it actually does make sense that the robots would try a variety of methods to kill off the humans. Though I'd guess sending the virus back in time doesn't work, because if you time it for before Skynet goes online, you prevent it from happening.

Timey-wimey stuff makes the baby Jesus cry.

Yeah, I thought that the plague was designed by the machines to kill off humans/rabbits.

(BTW, "apples?" Rhyming slang for. . . ?")

I liked Lauren - she also looked familiar but I don't know from what.

I think that season 1 is all pretty essential but I have a particular fondness for episodes featuring Derek. (Oh, the one where Cameron dances - that's excellent.)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm doing a rewatch of BSG, and just got halfway through Season 2 before my Amazon order arrived (I had to take out the BSG discs for my Doctor Who S4 discs). I still think "Flight of the Phoenix" is one of the show's best episodes, with Tyrol and Helo coming to terms over Boomer, Tyrol getting everyone to work on the Blackbird stealth fighter, and the touching end with the fighter being named "Laura" after Roslin. That always gets me to tear up!

Kathy, I was just saying that!

I just finished Resurrection part 1 - last night before watching SCC.

Season 2 through the Pegasus arc is just such excellent tv.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yes, I get that the machines created a plague, but I feel like this is the first I've heard of it. I wish they had hinted that this was among the things the machines had done to wipe us out!

It just seems like they are adding crap to the narrative that doesn't really make a lot of sense when taken together.
