I happen to be very biteable, pal. I'm moist and delicious.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Trial and Tribble-ations"

Why do the Klingons look like that?

It is a long story.

I love the bit where Worf doesn't want to talk about the old-timey Klingons.

eta - Klingon x-post!

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I thought it was "By the way, I found Grey".

Yep, that was it -- Capt. John very obviously taunting Jack with something he'd want to know before vanishing. The fact that it was dropped in the first story, then refrained here, indicates that it's probably tied in to the major season arc somewhere.

side note: they seem to swallow that "G" a lot.

Ahem. How many ways can we turn that into an innuendo?

Or is turning "Torchwood"-related things into innuendo pretty much gilding the lilly?

"Trial and Tribble-ations"

Love that episode. Love it. Wasn't one of Jadzia's blood brothers the lead Klingon in that episode (and, of course, the original Trouble with Tribbles)?

They actually brought back the three original actors to play the roles from "Trouble with Tribbles", "Day of the Dove", and a third episode I can't remember. Possibly the one with the Organians.

Yup, Koloth, Kang, and Kor, respectively. Except Koloth didn't appear in "Trial and Tribble-ations," probably to avoid further retconnish questions.

eta: And John Colicos, who played Kor, was also the original Baltar.

Oh, right, I'm thinking of a different DS9 episode. Sorry.

Huh. I'd forgotten that, but it makes sense. He wasn't terribly prominent in the original episode, IIRC (certainly not compared to the other two in their episodes).
