Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

140 stitches! Oh, poor guy!

“Not dead yet!”

Jesus H. What a stupid mofo. Poor Jason- and good thing it didn't seem to send Lisa into early labor.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Ah, shit! And he's a damn big guy, too -- the attacker must have had a death wish

sounds like they were arguing and the guy just smashed a glass in to his face. But I want to know how he got bail. He was on probation for another violent offense. And 30K? A lot of people can make a 10% bond for that.

OK, if someone had told me a couple weeks ago that the best thing about Sanctuary would be Bigfoot/Wolf Man slash, I would have laughed and assumed they were joking.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Umm is this Canon? Subtext? Or fan fiction?

Signed

The first episode was enough to keep me from ever tuning into Sanctuary again.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I watch this show every single week.

I am not quite sure what keeps me coming back but come back I do.

Is it subtext when one of the characters, after being über-protective of the other and bringing him food in bed last week, this week was reassuringly stroking his face and telling him they're on this journey together?

Because if McKay/Sheppard subtext had ever gotten that blatant on SGA I feel confident that the fan reaction would have crashed the whole internet.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm not sure what the "sub" is in subtext, ya know?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I assume everyone here is familiar with Jonathan Coulton's "Under the Pines"?
