A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Straight boy-kissing is a particular subset, though.
Yep.
My sister much prefers it (although she'll not turn down a chance to enjoy gay men kissing).
Again with the yep.
I'm not sure what that's about.
Me neither! I mean, I could cheerfully hypothesise until the cows come home, but, heaven knows what it's really all about.
Bonkers.
Surely, many lesbians don't care.
True. otoh, there are a fair number of lesbians writing m/m slash.
Ah, human nature. What a puzzlement thou art! What a big, pervy puzzlement!
I thought that they had the shower stuff so that Sarah could walk into the gym and they could give her the tiara - in an homage to Carrie.
Ahhh, Box Set. For a sec there, I thought sumi was talking about Sarah as in Sarah Connor and was all comfuzzled because seriously, could think of a woman *less* likely to be wearing a tiara, like, ever?
Oh, Torchwood, how I love thee.
We don't have near as much fun at work as this bunch does. Damn.
eta: same here with the Sarah confusion
One thing I was impressed by with the shower scene is that their mascara actually ran. I weary of the magical mascara on the screen.
But Ginger: also necessary for the Carrie image.
Vonnie, I had the same issue.
A behind-the-scenes look at the ROBOT GIRLFIGHT on SCC: holy crap, the other woman was a
contortionist
! I didn't even think of that! That wasn't crazy special effects; she was actually bending in terribly wrong ways!
(That also explains why she didn't get any lines; she might be a better contortionist than an actress.)
Ha, I did figure that when her arms bent behind her back like that.
