Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Crap, missed the first five minutes of SCC. We've come in right when the pregnant woman is in the hospital, talking to the doctor. Did we miss anything important?

...does Cameron have amnesia?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Mal is totally adorable omg.

Summer Glau knocked it out of the fucking park tonight.

Oh yeah.

I'm also wondering what the deal is with Shirley's "daughter". Mini-me T-1000, the original's real daughter or ?

I know!! So that crash was a real crash, but...was she "Catherine Weaver" at that time, or what?

I really liked Jody, for some reason.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So has Cameron come all the way back? Or has she only got back as far as "infiltration model?" I hope John gives her a once over.

I also wonder if the counsellor made a note of his name, because that family is now triply on the police radar now.

the helicopter crash happened two years ago. i think the T-1000 has been around a little longer. she had probably already taken out the real Catherine Weaver and used the helicopter crash to take out the husband.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Agreed on Glau's performance, which involved at least five different personas in the story by my count -- original Allison, amnesiac Cameron-as-"Allison", untemplated robo-Cameron, robo-Cameron freshly templated on Allison, and present-day malfunctioning Cameron.

Holy Sybil, Batman!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Raq, you have slain me! I am utterly vanquished! BLESS is too small a word! He outwoobies Zuko!

I think you should retaliate by drinking lots of tea, and trying to tempt him to play obscure boardgames. Yes.

Further to the Avatar love, I must add - tempering my gushing just a tad - that I got the impression that the quality of the artwork changed slightly in the final season. I don't think it's spoilery to say (and it's not a dramatic shift - just if you're mainlining them it might strike you) that they slightly cranked up the manga (not so much anime, but manga) elements. And I found that a little jarring, stylistically.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Am I the only one who dropped Sarah Connor in favor of Chuck? Last night's episode was solid, if more than a little heavy on the exposition. AB was awesome, and they seem to have gotten an upgrade on their fight choreography.

Oh, damn, I forgot Chuck is up against that. I'll have to DL so my roommate can see it....
