Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
wasn't Seelix (Jen Halley) excellent in Supernatural this week?
THAT'S why she seemed so familiar!
Couldn't keep myself awake long enough to watch Atlantis. I was watching last weeks ep and the combination of Teyla and the Wraith was excruciatingly painful. The only way it could have been more painful is if the Ori were involved.

f*** cliff marry?
Fuck, Chuck, Marry. It's got a ring to it that cliff lacks, I think.
Ronon's a bit of a bastard for drawing out his admission to Rodney, but I can't see him getting the girl. I just don't see the text going that way.
I always thought Ronon and Teyla were going to get together. Before the pregnancy and the father ass-pull.

Ah, that was my first guess, but got it muddled with the British "Shag, Cliff, Marry" (or at least the toned-down version of it).
I always thought Ronon and Teyla were going to get together
It sure seemed like they were heading that way in the beginning. But maybe they were heading towards "really good friends" with the misfortune that Ronon has mad chemistry. I cannot remember warming so quickly to a new character and with such gusto. He eclipsed all the other characters for me within the first several weeks of his appearance.
I always thought Ronon and Teyla were going to get together
I'm so glad they didn't group them chromatically and racially (ie not Earthers).
Jason Momoa has a way of sucking the eye towards himself. I watched Baywatch Hawaii for him.
Just finished Primeval. I saw half of the end reveal coming, but I hope they clear things up quickly--I don't know how long I can take that makeup.
I really loved the bit of Dex/Keller we got last season, and I'm disappointed that it's so obvious it's going to be McKay/Keller.
I also really noticed his wig this episode. Poor fella.
Makeup on Primeval, ita? Hmm, maybe I'm behind. I watched all of S2, and I'm blanking on any makeup. Whitefont?

Considering my strong hate for Keller, when I saw that flirtation, there might have been frothing at the mouth.
The more I see her, the more I realize that Jewel Staite is not my most favorite actress. I thought my hate for her on Firefly was just my lust for Simon/Sean Maher getting in the way (and maybe still is), but her adeptness of bitchiness on Wonderfalls and her whiny, high-pitched, low-self-esteem-so-what-the-hell-are-you-doing-on-Atlantis incompetence on SGA have culminated in a trio of grating, annoying roles and she needs to stay away from the adorableness of Jason Momoa. (It would be a quad if I admitted to watching that awful Lifetime movie she did).
'Suela, when they introduce Jennifer (or whoever the lady that looks like Claudia is) she's a lot harder looking than Claudia, and is wearing nefarious eye makeup.
To me, Dex/Keller makes her less irritating. Her whupping the Wraith with a stick was the most I've ever liked her. It wouldn't have helped Teyla though.
Julie, I don't feel the Jewel love either. I remember defending her zealously to a friend who's worked with her, but it turns out I was defending Kaylee, because I haven't liked any of her characters since, not even when we were supposed to--I haven't even enjoyed them.
Damn, tivo recorded 121 instead of 162. Well, at least BBCA repeats Primeval ALOT.
nefarious eye makeup.
Oh, yes. Okay, yeah. I don't like the new version of Claudia, either, nor her makeup or her wardrobe. And given the way the season plays out, it strikes me that the alternate-reality switcheroonie was done merely to be able to dress that actress more provocatively. Okay, they got that spiffy new set, too--but the likelihood of that woman's very existence is preposterous.
Speaking of preposterously bad British tv, rumor has it the new Merlin is very very bad.
