You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Zane was very tolerable. I wanted to slap Zoe for large portions of the show, though. Perhaps there's some Conservation of Character Likeability operating here.

Or perhaps Lexi is just not being a good influence on her. ::nods::

I called Henry being elected Mayor when he got everyone organized at the buses. And LOVED how Zoe's little lab partner called him Dr. Deacon.

Oh yes.

And LOVED how Zoe's little lab partner called him Dr. Deacon.

I thought that it was weird that they announced him as Mr. Deacon at the mayoral thing. Also, loved "Do you want to impress your constituents or your girlfriend's dad?"

Art Crawl!!!

Theodosia - I thought Henry would be elected at that point too.

Was he Mayor in season 1? Remember when they had that 1 minute Eureka update thing where everyone stopped and listened to it - wasn't he the Mayor?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Was that the kiss of twu wuv?

i'm not really sure what we were supposed to take away from that. other than maybe up until that point they'd just been "having fun" and weren't that serious. when Jo thought he was going to die she realized she liked him more than that. that's the impression i got when he was trying to let her off the hook later on and she insisted that she wasn't in crisis mode and they shared a meaningful look.

Thought on Mayor Dr. Deacon.

Mere coincidence that good looking African American chosen to head towns executive branch at this moment in history? I insist that Eureka's writers have super-science inside information about how the election is going to go and are foreshadowing.

hmm. Does being mayor of Eureka give him the appropriate executive experience. I mean, Eureka's even smaller than Wasilla.

On the plus side, he can see into other dimensions from his house?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was mildly concerned that the smarmy weather scientist running for mayor was going to turn out to be some veiled Obama reference, but (a) he ended up helping in the end and wasn't the villain (if partial culprit), and (b) Henry won (yay Henry!). I too thought they were tipping their hand during the scene where he organized the evacuees.

From Modern Fabulosity:

The Starbuck Has Landed

And she'll be on NBC. Katie Sackhoff, the unquestionable breakout star of Battlestar Galactica and one of approximately five women in the world who could turn me into a heterosexual, has been tapped for a new show from Law and Order creator Dick Wolf, called Lost and Found. I don't even care that it'll probably be a mind-numbing procedural, or that it means she won't be on Nip/Tuck, or that the working title of the new show is truly heinous. I just hope she kicks a great deal of ass, because I'll be watching every week, and I expect fierce diva jujitsu from my TV goddesses.
