'Dirty Girls'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was mildly concerned that the smarmy weather scientist running for mayor was going to turn out to be some veiled Obama reference, but (a) he ended up helping in the end and wasn't the villain (if partial culprit), and (b) Henry won (yay Henry!). I too thought they were tipping their hand during the scene where he organized the evacuees.

The Starbuck Has Landed

And she'll be on NBC. Katie Sackhoff, the unquestionable breakout star of Battlestar Galactica and one of approximately five women in the world who could turn me into a heterosexual, has been tapped for a new show from Law and Order creator Dick Wolf, called Lost and Found. I don't even care that it'll probably be a mind-numbing procedural, or that it means she won't be on Nip/Tuck, or that the working title of the new show is truly heinous. I just hope she kicks a great deal of ass, because I'll be watching every week, and I expect fierce diva jujitsu from my TV goddesses.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

hmm. Does being mayor of Eureka give him the appropriate executive experience. I mean, Eureka's even smaller than Wasilla.

It does offer more experience with global warming and nuclear deterrent issues than your average mayoral position, however.

Fringe: I thought it was pretty good. Not awesome, but I liked a lot of the character beats. And I hope we see more of Charlie --Kirk Acevedo has the most amazing eyes *drowns*

Rewatched the final scene between Jo and Zane and now I'm worried for Jo, if that was her declaration of "I'm not fooling around". The first time around I missed Zane's expression of non-reciprocation. Oh show, you made me like Zane, and now you're setting him up to break Jo's heart?!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hee. I hope we see more of him too, as I loved him on Oz. He was good on The Black Donnellys too.

I have vague recollections of him from Band of Brothers, so it comes with warm fuzzies. He just exudes decency (and deep dark eyes you could get lost in), and they better not f*** with that.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I hope we see more of him too, as I loved him on Oz.

  • cough* Considering what we saw of him on Oz, the only things left to see would require x-rays.

Our wings are not tired.

Fringe held my attention. Interesting enough to come back for more.

Still behind on Eureka so I have to skim over the discussion. I have to wait for the rest of the family to watch that one. I promised. Didn't say I wouldn't read the discussion though.

Heh. That show did like the penis.
