A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Which one?
Alicia Coppola was on
Another World
for at least a year, maybe two. Um, in 1992-3 I think? Probably before I finished highschool.
So, however tall she is, she's also pretty well-preserved. She didn't play a teenager or anything, and she doesn't look much different 15 years later.
Yeah, in person she definitely looks older than Brad Byer, who looks by comparison about 22. In person she also has way more freckles.
Lennie James, though, was definitely the star of the panel: he's sharp & well-spoken and seems really thoughtful in a way that some actors aren't. I was really impressed.

Oh, she was Lorna #1. Didn't Lorna turn out to be Felicia's daughter?
inoffensive but not particularly insightful guy from TV Guide (not Fonebone)
Heh - no need to worry, Fone hasn't been with TVG for a couple of years now. (He was still freelancing for them from time to time, but then they ran out of money and stopped using freelancers altogether.)
Also, while Torchwood took the 48-hour Amnesia Cure, Rhys sure didn't, and wouldn't he be asking Gwen what happened to that nice Owen chappie who was so helpful? Not to mention still being kind of upset about Gwen forgetting him and so on?
Right? Right? That bugged me. I feel like the Torchwood writers assume he doesn't exist except when they want him to. Also, I think Torchwood would have been a hell of a lot more concerned about losing two days. Myself, I would have left myself a note saying, "Memory erased for a Very Good Reason. All is well. Love, me." But they clearly didn't.
Also, did everyone else get the Martha Jones episode? Because I got "Adam" again. Unless it had the same first five minutes for some way-over-my-head reason.
BBCA is showing Martha next Saturday.
Damn and blast! I'll get you for this, BBC America!
...no, I won't. But I'll be crotchety about it. They told my Tivo that they were showing it! Well, my DirecTV. Doesn't flow as well as Tivo.

Yes, that sounds right.
I'm still trying to figure out where I know Hawkins from -- I'm sure I've seen him in something, but the more I think about it the more I think it may have been theatrical, or a still from something theatrical. Meaning probably the National Theatre in London, because I hardly ever go to the theatre.
(I know they'd done a Henry V in modern dress, a year before I was there, but that was Adrian Lester in the title role.)
