A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
They're cancelling SGA? And replacing it with...a new spinoff?

Normally I am, I think it's fair to say, a reasonably articulate kind of lass, but really, all I can think of to say to this is: What the fucking fuck?
CFerg - how exciting about the comic books! Have you done that kind of thing before? Should be a blast! Oh, and granted I've not seen any of the current season of
Eureka
(being in Bangkok), so I can't comment on this season - but I definitely agree that Ed's choices in the first two seasons have been spot on. Cranking up the whole mean/combative thing would have been reductive, not to say cheesy. Got to love the depth & humour Ed's brought to the part.

...and, you know, I'm still boggling over SciFi cancelling SGA. Seriously. WTFF?
Interview with Mark Sheppard - mainly about BSG.
I'm still in shock over the cancellation of SGA. When they start canceling shows even when they have good ratings, I'm not sure what they'll do next. (Then again... remember way back to Odyssey 5, which was Showtime's highest rated show and that got canceled.) I suppose I can understand that they wanted to do a series of SGA movies and going out on top is probably the only way to make the movies profitable, but there had better be a whole lot of them.
It sounds like it was a decision by MGM, not Sci-Fi. Wasn't Atlantis at 5 seasons? So contracts were probably up.
watching the Mark Sheppard interview. My word, I forgot how much I love his voice. And what a lovely man.
Cferg! Comics! My imagination is going wild thinking of what could take place inbetween seasons 1 and 2. But then again
Once in a Lifetime
still resonates with me as an incredible hour of television, and I'm always hopeful that the show will remember that whole episode happened.
SGA: personally, I'm relieved, because I can't stop watching it, but I can't stop bitching about it, and not in a "love to nitpick it" way. Especially when the writing even managed to make Ronon, the one saving grace for me, not adorable or funny and dumbed him down to the level of an ape two or so eps ago.
Waves "hi" to CFerg! thanks for stopping by!
Eureka comics - awesome! Very much looking forward to that.
Stargate: Universe. Huh. I guess I mourned the 'verse too early. Or maybe not. We'll see, I guess!
Huh. Is there a place to talk about shows still in planning? The spoiler threads say they're for currently running shows, and I'd kind of like to discuss the Stargate spinnoff if anyone else is interested.
Let's create a thread! I'm SO VERY kidding.
I'd be interested in discussing it, too, though. Can't brain where. Here in whitefont? I dunno.
