A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

And last week, when a poor choice of light spectrum caused changes in the water which turned people into lizards, that didn't bother you?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I can't believe they used the "for one of these characters...the episode that changes everything" in a Eureka preview. Ugh.

Double "ugh". And, also, what's with airing the promo before the episode ends? Stoopid promo monkeys.

I groaned when Stark and Carter walked *closer* to the lava spurting into the lake. Seriously. Guess it wasn't that dangerous.

I know I missed a bit due to a phonecall, but when did Carter learn to drive that underground contraption?

Nice to see the sexual harrassment chick again. You know, the hottie who's totally doing Daniel Jackson. Lexa Doig or something?

Now we just need the vet back.

Well, that just sounded like flabotanum to me, so easier to swallow. 3000 degrees? I kinda have an idea what that might be like (500 degree oven x 6).

I've stood about two feet in front of an open glassblowing oven, which runs right around 2400 degrees. You're sweating in about ten seconds, true, but it's not like it melts your face off.

That being said, walking toward the hot lava is still not a very smart idea.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Or as a fireman once told me seriously, "Never run towards a fire"...

Even with the rubbery science, I still enjoyed the silliness and the characters, and the advancing storyline, particularly Henry being smarter this time around.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it as it was deeply, deeply silly. It's just the magma/lava stuff pinged me as dumber than the usual Eureka "science".

It probably wouldn't have pinged me at all if Stark hadn't said the line about the magma being 3000 degrees.

Damnit, the Olympics have got me all turned around, and I forgot about Eureka last night! I'm sure it'll be rerun--does anyone know when?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

When the magma/lava was venting, I thought "I hope that there aren't any fish in that lake"

There sure aren't now!

Was the pocket of magma under the town? Will parts of it collapse now that the magma is gone?! Inquiring minds!
