Yeah! And I can finally use all my DW icons on LJ. It's been killing me not to use them for fear of spoiling someone.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I was a weepy mess at the end. Poor Donna! Oh, well, at least Rose gets her Doctor at the end.
Jackie was seriously ill-used here--why bother bringing her back at all, other than to trick us into thinking she'd be the one "child of time" to croak in that test run of the bomb? Feh.
Loved Jack's mind immediately going to naughty places with the thought of three "Doctors" available!
The only thing I'm curious about is that Dalek Caan said that one of the Children of Time would still die. Do you think he meant Donna, if the Doctor didn't do what he did? Or do you think one of them still has to die and we'll see it in season 5?
She's got a Doctor, be happy! He's got all the same damn memories, he's the same man, minus one heart. And guess what, he'll say he loves you! Be happy! Yeesh.
Agreed.
Did anyone else hear DT slipping into his brogue in the Bad Wolf Bay scene?
And having watched this episode four or five times now, I think it would have been better served without Sarah Janes son and her constant going-on about him, Mr. Smith, K-9, Jackie, Gwen and Ianto. No disrespect to the characters, there was just far too much shoe-horning going on, and I'd rather the story had been served, rather than the memory of RTD's tenure. Especially since we still have him for some of the specials. Dude, you can't have your going away party before you take vacation and then come back to work for one last month. (or, well, you can, but it's a bit anti-climatic)

I was just reading the comments over at the Flick Filosopher's blog post on this ep, and someone over there had the brilliant idea that the "ever-faithful child of time" that Dalek Caan was referring to was himself. After all, he protected the Doctor and Donna, shepherding them to exactly that point in time.
Just a little bit, Juliebird! I forget which word it was that pinged me, but, yeah. I wish he could use it all the time. I love listening to him in his little video blogs on the DVDs.

Ooh. That could be! Nifty idea.
I want Jenny to show up and Donna to go into crisis, and remember everything. Once she gets cured, she gets to tear the Doctor a new one.
I love that her grandfather is so kind to the Doctor here. I hope this isn't the last we see of Donna or Granddad.
I really want Wilf to be the Doctor's new companion. An old man companion would be awesome!
