Jon, that sort of is a spoiler between parts 1 & 2 of the finale .

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Wait, so there's only going to be specials, no new seasons, of DW until 2010?!?
And "Torchwood" is only a five-part miniseries this year.
Y'know, this will probably make for stronger all-around episodes, instead of letting the shows suffer while they're going through massive internal changes. In a lot of ways, it's far more responsible than what American shows do. I mean, look at how many shows suffered trying to cram shows together during the Writers Strike. But mean, it's going to be a long, "Who"-less year and a half.
And who knows how Scifi will schedule it all. (Although I am sure that they will LOVE a Torchwood mini to add to their stable.)

Accept they don't air "Torchwood." BBC America does.
Jon, that sort of is a spoiler
Sorry, Trudy. I know where you're coming from, but I respectfully disagree. Given that we know there's a SJA series coming up, it's not a spoiler to know that the character for which THE SERIES IS NAMED is alive.
le sigh, ariastar's alternate season 5 for Doctor Who is finished, and I am so happy and sad: [link]
Sail, I still can't thank you enough for pointing these fics out!
I'm totally spoiled for any other writers, now, she's just so good.
although, I have to say, this time around I didn't quite buy the psychology of The Master and his motivations for sticking around. But, still, awesome plotty goodness and wonderful voices.
I felt that was a bit forced, too, but still enjoyable. I'll take it over Ten/Rose, anyday.
All of it, totally enjoyably. Yes.
And speaking of Who, I've been rewatching some of the first season, and I think DT may have eclipsed my love for CE (gasp!), but I think perhaps that the writing has also improved for the most part, which may have had a role to play in that eclipse. Although, say what one will of Rose: sure, she may have hopped on board because she was bored and had the youthful attitude of indestructibility (sp?!), but she had some moxie, too, and an opinion --I'm thinking specifically of Dalek when she called the Doctor on his murderous behavior and felt compassion for the Dalek (Caan?). She wasn't all giggles and chips. More on that in a few weeks.
