A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

On one of those video diaries of Tennant's from the time they were filming the final episodes from S3, Barrowman is showing his trailer off for the camera, and he introduced his dog Tiger as "Tegan" for Doctor-Who purposes (after Tegan Jovanka, of course!).

I love it when actors on tv shows geek out over their show's backstory.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Barrowman's partner could be considered the pretty one of the couple.

Yeah, I've seen those before -- I'm pretty sure that at least half of Barrowman's constant cocky grin schtick translates as "yes, world, I really am that lucky."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sure. And his partner can come too, and join in.

Of course. We will surely make him welcome and comfortable too. No need for anyone to feel left out.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Rewatching Who and my goodness John Barrowman was quite pretty and young in the first new series! I mean, he's still pretty, more handsome now, but, my goodness! It's like there was five years inbetween when we next saw him!

And, I have no idea where to take this, but reading the alternate Doctor Who seasons 4 and 5, and my John Simm love rekindled, I've been tracking down more John Simm goodness. Found an interesting little 1990's series called "The Lakes" on V-oh except not all eps are there, and now I'm bonkers! Short of ordering a region 2 DVD that I won't be able to watch for several months as I wait for it to ship, all for four measly episodes that I have yet to see... does anyone know where else I might seek this out? i mean, even if I did torrents, the files are probably defunct by now.

And spilling of this, there was a question posed in The Lakes about white dog shit, of which I have a vague memory, and was bored enough to Google it, and the best answer I found was this:

Please don't think political correctness is the reserve of humans alone, dogs have now been told that the must be a certain amount of brown shit amongst the white ones. Affirmative Excretion.

And in Five, Four... We're making a left tuuuuuuurn!!! (apologies, Doctor Who and Jeffrey Dun Ham (dot COMMMMMM) just collided).

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Yeah, I've seen those before -- I'm pretty sure that at least half of Barrowman's constant cocky grin schtick translates as "yes, world, I really am that lucky."

I completely agree.

through all the crap and shit and mundanity, Donna Noble, you are still awesome.

Rose, I'm sorry about the hair and the clothes you seem to be stuck with.

I think it's the hair.

Rose, I'm sorry about the hair and the clothes you seem to be stuck with.

That was even worse than the lisp.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

WHOA! So that wasn't so much Rose as we last saw her, as some manifestation of Bad Wolf Rose? It would explain her knowing so much about how Donna's life was supposed to have gone despite returning into an alternate timeline where those events never happened...

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I think it's the hair.

I think it's the clothes/wardrobe as well. He just seems so smooth-skinned and skinny and just, well, young. I'm finding it all rather shocking in comparison to how he looks in the first season of Torchwood (maybe it's the huge trenchcoat?)

Rewatching Rose in season 1 and she's like a vapid Donna point 1. She was the voice of reason and humanity, and these new glimpses of her just aren't tying that in. She's cool, but beyond the voice issues, not my Rose.

But Donna, oh Donna. You rock.
