Wash: I mean, I'm the one she swore to love, honor and obey. Mal: Listen... She swore to obey? Wash: Well, no, not...

'War Stories'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I do think Claudia Black would make a great Rani.

Now, see, I said this out loud yesterday, and Daniel gave me Spock eyebrow.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

That was because you were being completely logical.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

...aaand now I think Barrowman should totally come to the Prom. I mean, bigtime. This is the first and only time it has occurred to me to want a random celeb-type personage to be in any way involved with an F2F, but he does seem to be living the F2F joi de vivre (which I can't spell) wholesomeish Bacchanalian revelry thing, and one feels that he'd fit in rather well, kilt and all.

The Rani! Oh, fabulous - somehow I'd forgotten about her. Yes - Claudia Black would indeed be a fabulous choice for the Rani.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

surely it would be ok for him to come to Prom, get a few sheets to the wind, and start making out with girls in spite of liking boys. Right?

Sure. And his partner can come too, and join in. Especially as the pictures I've seen suggest that Barrowman's partner could be considered the pretty one of the couple. (Boggle your mind with that, if you will.)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

And I've heard that his partner is "hung like a donkey". Damn shame that they cant' have children. They'd be beyoooootiful.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Barrowman's partner could be considered the pretty one of the couple.

Yowza!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

On one of those video diaries of Tennant's from the time they were filming the final episodes from S3, Barrowman is showing his trailer off for the camera, and he introduced his dog Tiger as "Tegan" for Doctor-Who purposes (after Tegan Jovanka, of course!).

I love it when actors on tv shows geek out over their show's backstory.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Barrowman's partner could be considered the pretty one of the couple.

Yeah, I've seen those before -- I'm pretty sure that at least half of Barrowman's constant cocky grin schtick translates as "yes, world, I really am that lucky."

Of course. We will surely make him welcome and comfortable too. No need for anyone to feel left out.
