A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's just reminded me that I recently had a dream where I was hanging out with Tom Baker which made me the coolest chick on the block, which regardless of how I feel about Nine or Ten still feels kinda true. Prompted no doubt by the TB Remington Steele ep I'd just watched.

Tom Baker was on Remington Steele? TOLD you he was my Doctor!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Spoiler for 4x13 ahead:

Speaking of which, I'm hoping the lack of "preview" for the christmas episode at the end of 4x13 ep means that the next time we see him, it is going to be much later in the Doctor's timeline. Leaving a gap for future filling-in seems like a good idea.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Alas, Daniel, I saw a promo for the Christmas Special after 4x13, but that doesn't mean that there couldn't be long gap between when the Doctor leave Wilf and when he arrives back for Christmas.

I'm thinking that the only way to get Ten out of his intense emo funk is to bring back Jenny. Not as a companion, but as a recurring character that he keeps running into, hanging out with, but of course she'll be so impetuous and independent and free-spirited that she'll be off on another lark before you know it.

Nine *is* the Doctor, in my mind. Nine is the man I'd follow to the end of the universe and back, the man I'd trust absolutely with my life. He's *my* Doctor.

Yup, in absence of Tom Baker. Nine feels more tragic to me, more grieving for his lost kindred. Ten has too much arrogance for my taste. He enjoys his power, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but Nine felt the weight of the power more and had a better sense of consequences.

edit: Still and all, nobody rocks like Ace.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

nobody rocks like Ace.

Except Leela.

True, Leela possibly does rock more.

Art Crawl!!!

Who is Ace?

Is there a Doctor Who timeline that shows where in the universe each Doctor was at any given time?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ace was the Seventh Doctor's companion. She was something of a delinquent and she liked to blow shit up (and was good at it).

I would love for Ace to show up at some point in the new series.
