Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

What it needs is the classic light from the original series Cylon helmet with noise while it toasts.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What it needs is the classic light from the original series Cylon helmet with noise while it toasts.

Also, when you push the "toast" button it should say "By your command."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I didn't realize Rose had a "special" voice. Huh.

No doubt to match the violet eyes and smelling of strawberries, if RTD is anyone to judge by.

Oops! Sorry ita, I didn't know how to make a quick edit work inside a quote, but thought white text would be harmless.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Did any one else think that the Stargate SG1 ep. "Gemini" (Replicarter) make less sense than the average episode of Venture Brothers? Cuz I just watched it for the first time, and... dude... that was sad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just watched a 90s ep of The Outer Limits and honest-to-dog liked it. What a weird feeling. It was the David Keith one and the post-female world.

I had a happy thought about DW 4x9 based on 4x11. Inasmuch as one can...the bit where River Song looked all weird when Donna told her her name...maybe that's just because Donna's all mega-special and crap. That could be it, right? Nothing worse than that.

About 4x11 itself: Donna! If I could work out how to make Martha not my favourite, I'd totally make Donna my favourite. But Catherine Tate is TOTALLY my favourite. She was good. It was good. Timey wobbley, but good and bleak in a way the Brits know real well, and the labour camps were hella chilling. Of course, we have to dock RTD on the race points, since he had another evil person of colour....

And connecting it to SJA as someone said in Vonnie's LJ: This all has something to do with the guys who stole Sarah Jane away, and decided to go play with The Doctor's time juice instead--I'd totally forgotten that.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

why the f*** why?

As far as I could see, there was nothing to indicate that Rose was corporeal. The entire episode, she never touched anything at all.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I had that last thought, too, ita. It kinda makes me happy, if for no other reason than it's not the Daleks

Scola, I would have sworn that at some point, I had the thought, "Damn, she just touched that." But I do not recall when.

eta: FFing though, Donna touches her arm in the first conversation. And she's sitting on the bench when Torchwood goes up in flames, and in the truck on the way to the mirror-machiney place. She also pulls open the plastic sheeting to get in and works with the computer terminal.
