A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I watched 2 episodes of TW tonight, and I know it's not really possible to get critical of the whole
wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff, but in 2.03 how did Jack know what would happen to Tommy when they sent him back if they hadn't sent him back yet? Surely the whole "closing the rift" thing came afterwards...?
Oh dear.
From next week, they seem to be showing the subesquent ep. on BBC3 immediately after the one on BBC2. Ep 2.06 would appear to be the first one with
Martha
!
I echo amych's YAY.
Torchwood 2.04:
Oh, Ianto. If I had only known what we were missing in the first season. Sure, there was that time you almost got eaten by cannibals and you smirked at the guy before you headbutted him, but that was the tip of your awesomeness iceberg.
Also,
I think I would be less irritated by the Jack/Gwen stuff if I knew where they were going with it. Or possibly more irritated.
Torchwood: I just try to pretend the
Jack/Gwen stuff isn't there, because it is so random, and it never feels natural this season. Sadly, that usually doesn't work, and I'm just annoyed. I found the scene at the warehouse (before they knew what was going on with Rhys) particularly painfully bad last night. Maybe there will be an ep that shows us this whole other reality that only Jack remembers where he and Gwen were hot and heavy, because otherwise, I remain confused by the intensity of his emoting
.
Also echoing the YAY!
Jon, is this the promo you were talking about earlier?
ION, "Ashes to Ashes" starts tonight, 9pm British time. Wheeeeee! The advance reviews I've seen have been uniformly great, so they've really got my hopes up. Darn it.
OH!! Thanks for the reminder!! Eeee.
Any word on when further seasons of
Farscape
will be released on iTunes?
Just what the original press release said, "this spring."
Ashes to Ashes
is now ahemmable!
