A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I take issue with Superman over one thing though, and I hope this comes around again: he's mad because this facility houses something that can kill him and Kara? Please. The one thing in the world that can hurt you. That facility houses multiple things that can kill the mere mortals around you, and they go there every day because it's their job. I know facing your mortality is scary, but but's hard to have a lot of sympathy for the bulletproof near-immortal guy and his sudden fear of mortal instruments.
I guess I can kind of see it initially, since he was the only Kryptonian survivor known when they found the Kryptonite and it can't feel good to be told by allies that they're keeping something that sickens and kills you specifically in case they decide TO kill you. But after Astra, Non, etc., it makes no sense to be butthurt about the government keeping a stockpile of the one thing that could defend against rogue Kryptonians.
Oh, oh! Do you think Cat's whole "I can see the hero inside you" spiel was meant to indicate that she knows?
I thought that was meant to be ~*ironic*~ since she
doesn't
know even though she totally figured it out but then was "proved" wrong. So...so who knows.
Cat does know that Hank can shape shift now, right? She may have figured it out again. I hope so.
I really liked James and Kara as a couple, but otherwise I really liked this episode.

I was looking forward to that cuteness too; it was sort of abrupt to immediately back off that but that does imply, as mentioned above, that the new Kryptonian might be a love interest.
It was very abrupt and Kara's explaination makes very little sense considering last season and how little time passed from the finale to the premiere.
(skipping forward again)
OMG, Joe Flanigan on Fringe! It's like the Vegas AU, but less nihilistic.
...and he's dead before the teaser's over. Whoops. Poor Flan.

Right? She hasn't had nearly enough time to flip-flop that hard, especially if they've barely had one proper date.
Arrow: Why is Grumpy!Oliver so enjoyable? Love it.
God bless the salmon ladder, AMEN.

I actually rewound and went back to her conversation with Clark to make sure I hadn't missed some key point when they were discussing the meaning of life, etc. It was odd.
