Just watching it tonight... only partway through, and I'm intrigued by the flashbacks.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
OK, yeah, that was hella dark.
I am darkly amused that Jaha knows his people: he gets Abby to take the chip by threatening one of her patients, and gets Kane to take it by threatening Abby. I don't quite get the function of crucifying Kane in public -- everyone there has already taken the chip.
Pike + Indra + Murphy will be an unbeatable team, if they can keep from knifing each other for twenty minutes at a time.
I do begin to wonder what's so special about Raven, that she's the only one who ever managed to fight off ALIE even a little.
And what the hell is going on with Raven and Monty? Are they ok?
Of course Luna rejected the flame: it's why she left. But I love her digs! So cool.

Didn't Clarke ask her something about Finn, which made her realize she was missing memories? At this point, with a critical mass of people infected, there's no one around who is asking those questions.
But yeah, the answer is probably "Because we needed Raven for plot reasons."
Man, they are telegraphing Wally becoming Kid Flash SO HARD.
And, okay, Wally and Jesse are in the secret room together, so it would be pretty easy for them to get zapped with the Speed Force in one fell swoop.
So, we just got Kid Flash and Jesse Quick, right?
And Cisco is THE BEST.
Also, how damn far apart are the timelines of Arrow and The Flash? Because Barry had his speed back at the end of last week's Arrow. (I know, the problem is actually that the show tried to be clever by filming that "6 months from now" clip and then they had to live with it. Still, y'all done messed up real good.)
We were all wondering how Wally gets his powers (not to mention Jesse Quick), Now we know.
Ha! Nailed it!
Of course, it was so obvious to anyone who reads the comics that Inspector Clouseau could've figured it out.
Henry's mother's maiden name was Garrick. That has to be a clue, right?
DC can't keep any of their shows in-synch. Remember Barry disappeared to (and returned from) his adventures with Supergirl after they already happened on the latter show.
I agree that being tied to the flash-forwards made for some weird personality shifts on Arrow last week. But yeah, I can only assume last week's episode of Arrow takes place after Barry gets back from Speed Purgatory (or where ever he got zapped to) next week.

It HAS to be. This show is not good at subtle.
Maybe the man in the mask is Henry II, who changed his name to Jay Garrick for reasons and was the original Earth II Flash, captured by Zoom who then stole his identity.
It's an old DC thing. Clark was Ma Kent's maiden name.
Henry II as in Henry Plantagenet, King of England? Is Eleanor d'Aquitaine there, too? I would watch the heck outta that!
