Fucking around with founding members of the Justice Society is a good way to lose me as a viewer forever, show.
So much this.
'Serenity'
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I'm also very perturbed they decided that "Barry's mentor is secretly the big bad" needed to be done two seasons in a row.
I'm really hoping the man in the iron mask is the real Jay Garrick.

Me too. So boring. Also, I thought they were going to do something with Barry's dad to explain his hasty exit.
Apparently after years of being locked up, spending some time with his son after release just wasn't a priority.
Do we think maybe he is in the iron mask? Would that make any sense?
That was my first thought, but the way the show's been going it's probably Earth-2 Eddie Thawne. And he's secretly a supervillain.

I know Barry talked to his mom on the phone when he was on Earth-2, and his dad being missing surely would have come up.

OMGWTF Polar Bear!
This is no doubt natter in the Boxed Set thread but after seeing "OMGWTF Polar Bear" here, my daughter and I have started using that phrase in texts to each other when we don't have time for the extended rant that a situation deserves - I've never before had a phrase that expressed exasperation so perfectly.
Cleolinda is truly the voice of our times.
