'Out Of Gas'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

This is no doubt natter in the Boxed Set thread but after seeing "OMGWTF Polar Bear" here, my daughter and I have started using that phrase in texts to each other when we don't have time for the extended rant that a situation deserves - I've never before had a phrase that expressed exasperation so perfectly.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Cleolinda is truly the voice of our times.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Harry: You are gonna get your speed back, Allen, and I'm gonna help you do that.

Barry: How?

Harry: By creating another particle accelerator explosion.

Barry: I love this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yeah that was odd. I swear these shows have some of the wackiest lazy writing.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Barry: I love this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it!

Actually, my reaction pretty much was: "This is batshit insane! I am 100% here for this!"

(Also -- Ghostbusters?)

We were all wondering how Wally gets his powers (not to mention Jesse Quick), Now we know.

I hope not, though. That would be a weird, awkward jump from just Barry to 3 speedsters. But that would be the easiest way to do it, yeah.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I really don't get why dealing with someone whose life was ruined by the explosion would inspire Harry to create another one.

Harry has never really been one to think things through.

Once Zoom is defeated, Cisco can send Jesse and Harry back to Earth II, so there'll only be two, as god intended.
