Oh, wow. Yes, that's even more messed up. Of course. Why he isn't stark raving mad is the real question.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I guess when you start out as a half-man/half-horse you have a higher tolerance for weirdness in your life.
Him being self-aware from the get-go dispels the biggest element of creepiness from having a relationship with Supergirl. Though I'd imagine having to sweep up piles of manure after your boyfriend whenever Hale-Bopp isn't visible in the night sky would kill the romance pretty damn quickly.
I think it was her mother because they kept talking about her all episode. It was a very overwrought finale, but it was mostly a good show. I hope it gets renewed.
I spent today finishing the season of Supergirl and catching up on The Flash. I'm still 2 episodes behind on Arrow and more episodes behind on LoT than I care to count.
I'm not sure if discussion of the show belongs in here rather than in Procedurals or Natter, but I thought I'd let folks know that Claudia Black is one of the stars of the new WB drama Containment that just debuted tonight.
I saw zero indication of that in the press beforehand, but recognized her when I left it on while eating dinner.
I knew she looked familiar in the commercials so I looked it up. It's just wrong seeing her with blonde hair.
That was some convoluted BS on Flash explaining the Jay-is-Zoom thing. Bah. I liked the first half of the episode, but didn't like the second half.
Also, it was really weird Barry not mentioning spending several days on yet another Earth in the middle of his run back from Keystone. (Or why, if Barry can travel between Earths with the tachyon widget, he needs Cisco to open a breach.)
ETA: Also, Cisco loses nerd points for using "midichlorians."

Didn't like it, either. I'm a big fan of causality. It also doesn't make a lot of sense. Why did Zoom say "This is a complication," when he brought Jay's dead body back to the lair? It was part of the plan.

Yeah, I was gonna bring up the same thing. Dude, you just created your own breach, albeit to a different different Earth. Now you've decided to keep that secret? That never ends well.
So who is the man in the mask? Another time remnant? Henry? Ollie (who's been reported dead on Earth II)? Anakin?
I kept waiting for some kind of double cross with the whole giving Zoom Barry's speed force. I was hoping it was going to be a trick.

I thought it was to a different Earth. None of the Supergirl people had heard of the Flash or Green Arrow or Black Canary.

I don't think I missed any episodes, but I don't remember what a time remnant is. Not a time wraith, right?

Me, too.

Yes. Supergirl's Earth is Earth 3 (or whatever). But the point is Barry just traveled to a different Earth on his own. His insistence that Cisco is the only one who could get him to Earth 2 seemed really strange.

A time remnant is something cut adrift from a timeline that no longer exists (or at least that's the best I can wrap my head around it) like Thawne when he appeared earlier this season.
As for why Zoom has a time remnant, or how he convinced the remnant to let him kill him (or why he then said that it complicated things while alone in his lair with Iron Mask when he supposedly did it on purpose) I can only assume the writers are doing a bunch of crack.
