On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

ENRICO!

(Colantoni just showed up on iZombie. Gosh, I've missed his mug.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG you guys, the X-Files finale made me so angry, I might have to call my college roommate, and we haven't talked on the phone in years. What the everloving fuck was that bullshit.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Watched this week's Flash and last week's Arrow tonight. I am completely dumb-founded by Thea telling Ollie that lying about William to Felicity was a good thing. As others have said, she's always been in the secrets=bad camp. It seemed horribly out-of-character. And also, wrong.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

So, I am dumbfounded by the Zoom reveal.

Yeah, I have no idea WTF is going on, especially since last week hinted that the masked prisoner might be the real Jay (or another Jay.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

OMG you guys, the X-Files finale made me so angry,

OMG I haven't caught up yet, is this going to piss me off like the last season of the original XF did? This is a tradition they didn't need to embrace!

I think he was trying to communicate that Zoom was Jay.

Overall, I'm kinda let down by the reveal since I'm not super keen on the actor who plays Jay and not sure if he has the range to pull it off.

On the other hand, King Shark made me laugh like a hyena whenever he appeared, so thumbs up on that front. That slo-mo shark chase in the water!

Yes.

I hate it because it seemed like an obvious choice. I wanted a more painful reveal like one of Barry's Earth 2 parents.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

OMG I haven't caught up yet, is this going to piss me off like the last season of the original XF did?

I was watching with a couple of friends, and one commented that the WTF Chris Carter felt very nostalgic. If the finale doesn't leave you wanting to throw a shoe at the television, was it really the X-Files?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Well, that's true. I'll have a nice soft shoe ready to throw.
