I think he was trying to communicate that Zoom was Jay.
Overall, I'm kinda let down by the reveal since I'm not super keen on the actor who plays Jay and not sure if he has the range to pull it off.
On the other hand, King Shark made me laugh like a hyena whenever he appeared, so thumbs up on that front. That slo-mo shark chase in the water!

I hate it because it seemed like an obvious choice. I wanted a more painful reveal like one of Barry's Earth 2 parents.

I was watching with a couple of friends, and one commented that the WTF Chris Carter felt very nostalgic. If the finale doesn't leave you wanting to throw a shoe at the television, was it really the X-Files?

I know that one of Flash's rivals from the comics was Hunter Zolomon Zoom. So my best guess is that Zoom is the Hunter Zolomon of Earth 2 (Jay showed Caitlin the Earth 1 version) and there's a whole twins separated at birth thing going on. Either that, or Zoom is from another Earth than 1 or 2.

SRSLY! He couldn't have tapped six more letters at the start? i.e. "ZOOM IS JAY GARRICK", instead of starting with "JAY..."
So, who's the guy in the mask? Henry?
I kind of have the feeling that it's yet another Jay Garrick.
