Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, I think you all might convince me to start watching Avatar. Looks like it is available on netflix, yes?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The first two seasons are out on DVD, yes. And, actually, so is most of the third season at this point.

Pun entendre?

Hee.

I have Zuko's future all mapped out in my head

It's wrong.

move out and draw fire

I know it's probably wrong (I mean, he can't become my RL boyfriend...for a whole host of reasons). Which is both why I love the show and why I don't want to be spoiled.

But just in case, I have a Plan B for him.

OMG, you guys! I went to a Battlestar panel tonight and they showed us Friday's ep. HOLY FRAK! SO GOOD! That's all I can say as we were sworn to secrecy by Ron Moore.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

HOLY FRAK! SO GOOD!

YAY!! (Someone somewhere leaked, so I know a bit, but I'm mostly excited to see the HOLY FRAK SO GOOD part confirmed.)

No, but they said they have about a month of filming and then they're done. Also Caprica is already filming. Mary McDonnell, Tricia Helfer, Katee Sackoff, Ron Moore, and all of the writers were there (Jane E!). I'm still kind of reeling after that ep. Wow.

Well, found this at TV Guide:

Speaking to TVGuide.com at a Wednesday-night screening of this week's episode, exec producer Ronald D. Moore explained that even though they are currently filming the series' final scenes, the none-too-small matters of editing, post-production and "seasonal scheduling" by Sci Fi Channel places the onset of the final slew of episodes at the start of 2009, at the earliest.

January. . . at the earliest.

Yeah, I think I saw a Sci-fi promo for this week's ep saying, that this was it "... until 2009..." Boo and yay. Boo, because 2009, but yay, because it's not over yet. More boo, though.
