Meisner, he flew off with her in the helicopter the King did a bellyflop out of.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I like her better than Hawkbro. They need to not reincarnate him for a long time.
Yes, she's better than Hawkbrow, but that's not saying much.
Thanks, Matt. That rings a bell. And Meisner is Resistance? I find that guy super hard to focus on - I keep hearing his name as Eisner and start thinking about whether that's meant to be a reference, besides trying to figure out if I recognize the actor from somewhere else (I don't think I do, I think he just reminds me of Garrett Dillahunt from some angles)
Count me as another who shed no tears at Hawkbro's passing.
If this was a brand new show, with no connection at all to the Arrowverse, I don't know if I'd stick with it. Even with that connection, I'm wavering.

I'm not super attached to it. Don't get me wrong; I *love* Captain Cold beyond the telling of it. He is the goddamn BEST. And I also think that Heat Wave is a lot better on Legends than he was on The Flash.
But Rip Hunter is WAY too Captain Exposition for me, and the Hawks are just not good at all.

Yes, they are terribly entertaining. And Sarah is a good partner for them. I don't mind Firestorm either.
So, I mainlined the first season of iZombie this weekend and loved the hell out of it. Can anybody tell me if season 2 is as good? My daughter said she didn't think so. I want a Buffista opinion, as my daughter and I may watch the same shows, but very frequently for different reasons and have different readings of character motivation.
It's been a little uneven, but I'm still into it.

It's even better, in my opinion. They've really mastered the balance between serialization and standalone that Veronica Mars had, making each case relate to the character arc while also juggling several other plates.
Excellent. Now, the next question is, how important is it to watch all the episodes in season 2 up to now? Can I skip them, or will I be missing too much?
