'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

X-Files is, IIRC, going to premiere on a Sunday (1/28?)but then be on Mondays. I haven't decided yet if Lucifer is going to be one of my shows, but other than that my Mondays look like Rayne's. Plus Gotham. That's a lot.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I still don't know if I'm going to watch X-Files or not. I loved the show when it was on, but the ending (not to mention the last few seasons) was so completely unsatisfying that I never bothered seeing I Want to Believe (which was apparently a good choice.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think the problem with I Want to Believe was that it was a Millennium story instead of an X-Files story. Black would've fit in so much better than Mulder and Scully.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

First Supergirl, now iZombie? What is with shows teasing major changes in character dynamics and then immediately backtracking on them?

I'm not mad at iZombie. I would like for Babineaux to figure out that Liv takes on the characteristics of the victims. Kinda seems like a detective would have put that together by now.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

They could easily do so without leading him to a conclusion of brain-eating zombie as well.

Yes! If he accepts the idea that she is psychic, he could think she is identifying with the victims on a psychic level, and it would make more sense that he would still be willing to work with her after she says really racist things, for example.

Caught up on The Expanse. Liking it, very compelling. I guess I will have to read the books now.
