No, it was boring and terrible.
(I presume you mean the second one. The first one was good!)
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Do I? I don't remember either one, but that doesn't mean anything.
You probably don't need to watch them, but Fight the Future is the good one and I Want to Believe is the bad one.
The second one is amazingly terrible, like, mind-bogglingly bad. The characterizations are all whack and the plot is frankly offensive as fuck. OK, I think it had a couple of nice Skinner moments (I love Skinner.)
I am tentatively psyched about the new series, but with apprehension. The X-Files is the quintessential Bad Ex-Boyfriend fandom.
Okay my brain read all of that as X Men at first and I was all "P-C hated Days of Future Past???" But all is fine.
You really don't need any previous context to understand the new X-Files, because there is a very helpful recapxposition monologue before the opening credits. BUT if you weren't a fan of at least the first few seasons back in the day, you probably won't enjoy it very much either. (I loved it. As I said on FB, my objectivity is minimal at best when it comes to Mulder and Scully, so I probably loved it more than it actually deserved, but NEW X-FILES.)
Also, The 100 comes back this month! I admit I may be more excited about Agent Carter and The 100 than I am about XF, weirdly enough. In the photos, though, GA looks even more luminous than when she was younger, if that's possible.
Oh man, my Mondays are about to get very complicated. X-Files, Lucifer, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin and Supergirl.
Whoa, wait, X-Files is going to be on Mondays? When and where?
I had the impression it was going to drop all at once at some point.
Me too! New X-Files is must-see-TV for me. I'm glad to hear I'll love it!

Yes, she does, and I want whatever ritual she's performing.
