A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

The 'ship name for Felicity's mom and Quentin Lance is SmoakNLance. That's actually awesome.

People have been using Smoakin' [Whatever] for a while for a lot of ships involving Felicity.

That makes sense. I only just saw it today on Paul Blackthorne's Instagram account.

Now I'm wondering why and how the convention got started that Smoakin' generally goes with superhero names, rather than regular names. I think that Lance is the only time I've seen it used with an actual name, and even there, it's his last name. Internet language is neat. (It even gets used in ways that don't really make much sense -- I saw something labeled "Smoakin' Driver" and it took me forever to figure out that the "Driver" part of that was Diggle. Who doesn't have a code name. But apparently, the "Don't use Smoakin' with first names" thing was strong enough that he needed some other name in order to get a pairing name.) (Even though Diggle is his last name.) (Here endeth the abuse of parentheses.)

Diggle. Who doesn't have a code name.

Felicity called him "Spartan" last night. I don't know if that's meant to stick, or not.

I'm also waiting for her to be called "Oracle." She said, several episodes back, that she thought she deserved a code name, too, and I was SO READY for someone to say "Oracle." But I guess it has to happen organically.

I think that whoever deals with that stuff at DC might not approve "Oracle," if they have any plans of using Barbara Gordon in anything in the future.

True; they wouldn't let Arrow use Ted Kord (even though Ray Palmer *is* Ted Kord in everything but the name) because they might want to use him in a future property. (I guess the show can namecheck "Kord Industries" as long as they don't actually use Ted Kord the character.)

But man, I REALLY want her to be Oracle.

I saw one fic that went with referring to whoever was working the comms from the base as "Watchtower," which seemed to work. (This was a story that pulled in a bunch of Batman stuff, too, and fleshed out Starling City by filling in any missing pieces with pieces of New Orleans. Which made for a kind of interesting atmosphere, but it worked.)

I kinda love the Barbara Gordon Oracle, but I am all for that being Felicity's code name. She deserves it.

Sleepy Hollow: so, was the scene of Joe Corbin telling Ichabod to talk to Abbie the first time anyone has actually acknowledged the Ichabod/Abbie thing out loud?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm starting to wonder if that was the reason behind his awkward exit. If Jay or Wells encountered Henry they'd kind of have to mention he was Zoom on their world. (Well, assuming they know who Zoom is. I think Wells does, at least.)

Henry is a great guess- I am leaning to thinking it is him, but could it also be Joe?

Joe would be a twist. I could see Henry.

It could be Iris' brother, Wallace.

I would think making him Eddie would be a bit jarring.
