A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Rat Ginger Elegant Pig"

Man, this is awesome.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

So the first two characters refer to Oliver's hair during his first two years on the island?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The third character, though, is more commonly encountered as a surname.

Well, Yao Fei was on the island, so that makes some sense. And Oliver's first two years on the island were 2007 and 2008, which were the years of the pig and the rat. So that part makes sense with the thing I remember reading, though in a different order. I think the person who wrote it got the "ginger" one to sort of mean "Shado" because "shado" is also the word for a type of flower, which has some kind of vague connection to the ginger plant.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Just watched Flash last night. My fave line was "The other Doctor Wells was evil but you're just a dick," especially the great line reading. We had to rewind just to hear it again. Lots of fun chemistry between Barry and Patty, I thought. My DH keeps saying that she's so much more attractive than Iris. I said, you think she's prettier? "No, more attractive-you just can't help but like watching her onscreen."

I am totally on board that ship.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Such a fun episode with the Harry and Cisco snark, plus Barry's date (as ridiculous as him not just leading with the "I got my eyes dilated." excuse was.)

Others pointed out there was a nice Supes vs Lex vibe with Jay and Wells.

I'm not really sure what Dr. Light's plan for killing her counterpart was. I mean, it originally sounded like she wanted to assume Linda's identity to escape from Zoom, but that's a little tough to do if you kill the person in front of a bunch of witness.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Dr. Light originally wanted everyone to leave the building except Linda Park. As long as she doesn't take off her mask, and if she has the ability to fry a body beyond recognition, then while not a great plan, it could conceivably work.

I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want to go to Wizard World Louisville. On the plus side: practically the entire cast of Arrow will be there. On the minus side: I'm going to be working a 16 hour day on Friday, and all of the Arrow panels are on Saturday. Feh.

I apparently forgot that part. Still not the best plan (probably way easier to just ambush her on her way home or something) and her deciding to try to kill her anyway once people refused to do as she asked kind of ruined it, but at least she put some forethought into it.

Arrow:

I am mildly disappointed that in an episode in which Lance meets John Constantine they didn't do some sort of Dresden Files reference (since Paul Blackthorne played the titular character on that show.)
