Watching Librarians now. Or trying to. I keep getting interrupted.
'Origin'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
There will be a new Star Trek series in 2017, created by Alex Kurtzman, who not only co-wrote the two recent Trek movies, but also a lot of other shows and movies that tend to be sloppy nonsense. He kind of represents everything I hate about the current state of Hollywood.
On the Sleepy Hollow/Bones crossover, is it necessary to watch Bones? Or can I get away without it?

so, I won't have to be watching that mess, then

You can get away without it, IMO.
Though, speaking as someone who'd never in my life seen Bones, I thought it was the stronger half of the crossover and actually had better writing for Abbie and Ichabod...
Supergirl: still fun. I like James and Winn.
I'm glad they addressed the fact Kara has no clue how to fight and can't just rely on her powers. (Though I think her Aunt should have had her even more outmatched in that fight than she did.)
I'm still scratching my head at Superman somehow missing the fact that a giant Kryptonian prison ship crashed to Earth, but not Kara's little pod.
Also, how have Astra and her band of Kryptonians been on Earth for 12 years and never heard of Kryptonite? Or are we supposed to believe the DEO is the only one who discovered it and not even Superman is aware of it?
That would rule out the WB series being in continuity. Although, Jimmy saying Superman also debuted to the world by saving a plane indicates that neither Man of Steel nor the Christopher Reeve movies are, either. I guess it was a reference to Byrne's Man of Steel comic miniseries?
Christopher Reeve saved Air Force One on his first night, so that works.
