I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That would rule out the WB series being in continuity. Although, Jimmy saying Superman also debuted to the world by saving a plane indicates that neither Man of Steel nor the Christopher Reeve movies are, either. I guess it was a reference to Byrne's Man of Steel comic miniseries?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Christopher Reeve saved Air Force One on his first night, so that works.

D'oh! I forgot about him waving to the pilot.

The chemistry in the episode was particularly bad, even by comic book standards. Like Bones bad. Took me right out of the episode.

"The tests we ran on his blood indicate his alien DNA isn't carbon-based like humans. It has a chlorine foundation."

If you want an option other than carbon, at least go with silicon. Chlorine can't form long chain molecules. There's an idea that used to show up in old SF stories that alien life could possibly breathe chlorine, but that's very different.

Also, DDT as the only possible source of chlorinated chemicals on earth? Please. Chlorinated solvents and pesticides are still used all over the place. He'd be better off knocking over dry cleaners for the tetrachloroethylene. TCE would probably be more nutritious for him as it contains much more chlorine by weight, and it's in liquid form so it could be like his version of a protein shake.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or popping into the nearest grocery/drugstore/convenience store for a bottle of Clorox, perhaps.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I believe saving a plane was the first thing he did in Superman: TAS as well.

I'm hoping Henshaw's glowing red eyes at the end and mentioning earlier that he used to have a family means he's actually Martian Manhunter and not some random evil alien.

ETA: Though apparently there's an existing DC character he's named after, so I guess that's highly unlikely.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Does your Flash have audio sync issues?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Nope, audio is in sync here, sorry.

Audio is synced here, too.

Caitlin: I don't think that any of us would become evil if we suddenly got powers.

Foreshadowing much?
