Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's a testament to how much I love this show AND Wentworth Miller that Captain Cold used his cold gun to FREEZE LIGHT and I just shrugged it off. (Although Tim immediately said "Lasers don't work that way!!!")

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Suddenly not regretting that I missed last night's episode.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Not any stupider than S.H.I.E.L.D. from a couple weeks ago, when Fitz carbon dated some silicon.

Oh, it was glaringly horrible (though this is also the show where Dr. Caitlyn Snow, who's apparently smart enough to work for STAR Labs, had to ask what a singularity is), but I love the show enough to forgive it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

And over on Arrow, Felicity's phone just got hacked by a Matrix screensaver. And the show now has two science people, though still doesn't seem to actually understand how different branches of science work.

Also, Felicity knew how to count cards a couple seasons ago, and now doesn't know how to play poker?

Tim's guess is that not-dead-just-tiny Ray Palmer is behind Felicity's phone shenanigans. Which would make some sense, since the 2 shows seem to be setting up all the characters for Legends of Tomorrow.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Fitz carbon dated some silicon.

That does not make me want to start watching the show again. Le sigh.

Right? I tilted my head and then just.... eh, screw it. I love them all so much, I'll allow it. Laser popsicles all around!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Tim's guess is that not-dead-just-tiny Ray Palmer is behind Felicity's phone shenanigans. Which would make some sense, since the 2 shows seem to be setting up all the characters for Legends of Tomorrow.

That was my assumption, too.

It's a testament to how much I love this show AND Wentworth Miller that Captain Cold used his cold gun to FREEZE LIGHT and I just shrugged it off.

You forgot about the part where Cisco used a satellite to track the cold gun's "ultraviolet cold signature." That's the writers giving science the middle finger.
