You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds amazing, Scola.

I'm getting past some dental issues and was told by my dentist today that I should consider a sonic toothbrush.

Don't you know, I typed 'best sonic screwdriver' a couple of times into google before I could stop my brain/fingers from doing it.

Guess I am excited for tomorrow night!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

After seeing a couple of episodes with each, I can confirm that Peter Capaldi is MUCH more to my taste than Howdy DoodyMatt Smith. Having the Doctor be a crotchety old man who has zero romantic chemistry with the pretty companion young enough to be his actor's daughter does my heart good.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Bonny, I read that twice before I saw what the problem was with it!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The NDA I had to sign before the premiere screening means I can't say, well, technically anything, but I think I can get away with mentioning that the first two eps are REALLY good. Poor Stephen Moffat can't help himself where his favorite tropes are concerned, and so there will be some eye-rolling, but overall this is LOADS better than last season already.

(I shudder to think what the result would be if Moffat and Joss ever collaborated. It would be the most addictively watchable internet-rage-inducing assortment of irresistible brainy waifs and mainpain-filled everymen ever collected on one screen.)

That's really reassuring, Jessica. I won't lie. I've been worried.

It is unseemly how much this made me laugh.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Watching Doctor Who now and REALLY liking this premiere. Sheds some interesting light on the Doctor's relationship with the Master I tell you what.
