'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Word on the street is that Arrow is going to lighten up next season, also.

That will be interesting to see. I wouldn't want, at this point, for the show to change its tone too much. I like the two shows having different feels. After 3 seasons of brooding Ollie, I wouldn't really want him to suddenly become the quipping Robin Hood of the comics/JLU but him lightening up a bit wouldn't be bad.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Going back and watching S1 Arrow compared to S3, it seems to me it was a lot lighter while still being dark. You had lots of trauma and plenty of doom and death.

I would agree. Season 1 Ollie was killing and mutilating without batting an eye, plus you had his mom being evil and Thea being a drug abuser.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Comments from one of the writers on S3 plans for Sleepy Hollow, including that change that was recently discussed in whitefont here:

What she says makes me really optimistic about the show's direction, as someone who was dismayed by S2 except for the very beginning and end.

Thrive to spite them

For those who are fans of Highlander, Methos and Peter Wingfield - he has graduated medical school. He's going to be an anesthesiologist. Here is his speech at the graduation:

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

A 1080p, watermark-free version of the Supergirl pilot has already leaked, reportedly.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

omg! I think he got hotter

Not possible, he was at maximum hott already! I knew he was going to be a doctor, but I didn't know he'd graduated. He's so awesome and sexy and smart. And he's my age, too!

I met him once, about 20 years ago. Good grief. I don't generally fangirl over famous people, I can keep my cool, but damn, I could barely think with him in front of me.

Well, I like the little bit of grey showing and he's aging extremely well ... but I think he's younger than I am.

sigh ... I turned 63
