Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Hey. New board.

I know. I just meant it got really scary much earlier in the cycle of the season.

VM was always dark but, well, it was still a show mostly set in high school. This just upped its game to thriller territory.

Orphan Black - some kind of genetic STD that gives you red eyes? Creepy.

I don't like the scorpion badmouthing Sarah. I know it's just looking out for Helena, but still.

Flirty Cosima is so darn cute.

Why won't BBC America tell me how many episodes Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell will be? It's a miniseries, but how mini?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

-t according to Wikipedia, it's a 7 part mini series.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

DVR alert: Word on the street says that the finale of Flash might run a little long, and consequently, iZombie might start a little late.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Pictures from the CW upfronts include Claudia Black. With curly blonde hair. [link]

NOPE. My reaction was, in fact, "I can't even." It's so wrong.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

NO. That's so wrong. Wrong for her coloring. Flee from the blonde, Claudia Black! Return to the dark side!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh well, if it gets her back on a TV show again...

Are they sure that's a picture of Aisha Tyler? Because I didn't recognize her in it.

Visilurking

It's CB's hairstyle on Julie Plec's new CW show, Containment.

Doesn't look too bad: [link]

I admire Plec's ability for plot twists and HSQ moments on her other two shows, so I may give this one a try. But I do worry whether she can pay attention to the administrative and procedural details inherent in a CDC/crisis show like this. Lots of hand-waving to law enforcement in Mystic Falls or New Orleans. Not unlike the Sunnydale Police Force.
