A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
iZombie: Is it just me or is Liv's detective partner the blandest character on the show. Everyone else is great - Major, lawyer!roommate, her M.E. friendboss, Sark!zombie. (I really need to start remembering names.) I just find the energy deflates whenever the detective is in the scene. Maybe it's the actor.
I like the detective, but it would be nice if we got more of a backstory on him.
I feel like they tried to give us backstory with his undercover stint, but something about those flashback scenes felt forced, like they were trying really hard to make him more interesting.
The Flash was fairly satisfying, and I am always happy to see Clancy Brown.
In the Flash previews, was that LoA Oliver?
It seemed to be, yeah. (I'm pretty sure we don't need to whitefont promos.)
Yeah, that promo kinda took the wind out of this week's Arrow episode. Not that I thought Oliver would be under LoA's mind control for too long but still.
I liked the choices they made with Grodd. We saw just enough for him to remain menacing. Although... GRODD. HATE. BANANA! Hehehehe.
Oh, thank FUCK Iris finally knows. Personally I thought she was way too easy on both Joe and Barry. I was jonesing for some face-punching or Quentin-level bitterness, yo.
Clancy-As-Grodd was AWESOME. And I am kinda psyched at the notion of Team Flash and Eiling as reluctant allies sometime down the road.

Except he's still in his LoA garb, which is weird.
GRODD. HATE. BANANA!
That made me laugh and laugh.

Co-signed.
Is the Grodd hating bananas a comics thing, or was that a callback to the animated Justice League? (Wherein Grodd took an instant dislike to Flash for offering him a banana.)
I don't know enough about the comics canon, so I dearly hope it's a callback to JLU.
Forever: Wait, is that where it ends? It's not getting renewed?
