Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I enjoyed that a ton. This show has been progressively more crazypants than usual after Oliver's return from the dead, and I think I dig it. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but sense-making has never been its strong suit (HA! Understatement of the year). I certainly have been finding it whole a lot more entertaining than pre-hiatus episodes.

This ep in particular was chockful of awesome ladies doing awesome things. At some point, it was Laurel, Nyssa, Felicity, Lyla, and Thea, plus Diggle, all banding together against Darth Ollie (hee! Felicity FTW) and the League of Stylish Ninjas. OK, they lost, but I clapped in glee when the Diggles had their code word (Jakarta!) and Lyla pulled those guns from Felicity's pockets (?) like the badass she was. And! Thea, on full-on Speedy mode, shooting the shit out of her own brother! That made me super happy.

Boy, Laurel/Nyssa vibe was THICK in this one. I don't think Katie Cassidy has ever had this much chemistry with anyone on the show. I mean, I like Laurel/Tommy well enough, but this was on another level.

I just said basically the same thing on FB. Ollie got played hard by the women.

TRUTH. (And I loved Laurel/Tommy, but...yeah.)

Diggle has a cute picture of himself and a smiling Ollie on his nightstand?

I want to believe that's a console table or something in a living room or hallway.

Arrow was cracktacular tonight.

Hell yeah!

I almost liked Laurel in this episode. Although I hated when she said something about what "we do" because I still don't think of her as part of team Arrow.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I think the main problem with Laurel is all of her major storylines have involved ridiculous melodrama. She hasn't had a chance to actually be happy much. With Cisco on The Flash last week and this week with Nyssa she got a chance to portray some actual warmth, instead of just using her "Authoritative Lawyer Voice" and scowling.

Agree with the craziness of Arrow.

And - just my opinion - Ras is not my idea of a matchmaker.

If Ollie is supposed to be the new Ras, why does the old Ras seem to still be in charge of everything. Or is Ollie just supposed to be the heir? Also thessaly made an interesting observation the other day that I thought I would post here. Thea has now also faced Ras and lived, so does that mean she could also have the potential for taking over as Ras?

The way I understood it (I may be wrong ... with this show, who can tell), Ollie is the heir, but the current Ras is still The Man. I don't think Thea counts because she only survived because he let her go into the Lazarus Pit ... and, also, I think 'cause she's a girl.

I believe the difference between Ollie and Thea is Ra's intended to kill Ollie, but he lived while he was intentionally only critically wounding Thea so Ollie would be forced to use the Lazarus Pit on her.
