Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Ha! I would believe that.
Seriously, though, it actually pissed me off when Agent Carter went that route. It made me appreciate that SHIELD just...starts.
It's more the voiceover as part of the show that bugs me. I can ignore the intro, although you are right it is totally redundant to the much cooler opening graphics.
The opening credits are by Mike Allred, who originally drew the comic.
Nice.

Reign had one but they eventually got wise and 86ed it. Just like iZombie, the opening credit sequence is cool enough to not need it. Besides, introducing Mary Queen of Scots as a person is no longer relevant is what now amounts to a soap opera...The Crowned & The Quixotic.

I like the in-show voiceovers. It's one of the things that reminds me of Veronica Mars.
I never like voiceovers. I grudgingly tolerated them in Veronica Mars because they are so ubiquitous in noir, but I generally wish they would go away.

I like the in-show voiceovers a lot, for the same reason. They aren't redundant like the intro voiceover.
Man, I wish I could watch iZombie, but the brain-in-noodles bit in all the previews squicked me way the hell away from the show.
