I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Is that something the Soultaker Sword can do?

He probably got a random soul, not his. Actually, that would be HILARIOUS. Like Freaky Friday.

Vinnie Jones is good stuff, man.

And I don't understand how Barrowman is so unbelievably hot.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Oh and the commercials about Flash and Arrow keep showing a glimpse of Victor Garber!

Not just the commercials. During the ep, right before Caitlin was taken hostage, Garber's photo showed up on her tablet when she looked up Dr. Martin Stein.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Arrow: I actually stayed up and watched it live last night, which I almost never do. When I had been wondering about whether or not we would have a whole episode without Ollie, I forgot about flashbacks. At least this week's was directly relevant.

I don't believe that Laurel could get that good in such a short amount of time. t /broken record

I think they're setting up a major battle between Thea and Malcolm. The "I could have killed you" exchange seemed like major foreshadowing.

Right? I believed in League of Assassins-trained Black Canary, but not Goes To The Gym After Work Black Canary.

Yes, and I believe in your father is burning your hand so you don't feel pain Thea just fine too.

Thea being that good in such a short time kind of stretches credulity, except for the fact that they were probably training all day, every day. And Laurel hasn't, because of that pesky day job, for one.

But she has righteous anger...

That's gotta count, right?

Maybe for Carrie, other people still have to learn how to aim.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Abigail Adams would have been in her 30s. However, by 1777, she had had six children, one stillborn, in 10 years. She had run the farm during John's many absences. It seemed through those years that he was only home long enough to get her pregnant again. When money ran short because he was off revolutionizing instead of lawyering, she tracked down clients with unpaid bills and demanded payment. It's much easier to believe in Abigail Adams as supernatural crime fighter than it is to believe in Dawn as Abigail Adams.

Her Dawn-ness was distracting to me as well. Even more alarning, she's TWENTY NINE.

I am very very old. I am Icabod old.
