Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

'Beneath You'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think Abby's plan was to enchant up the fake methusasword.

So much love. Here's hoping his next thing is soon and as awesome as he is (tall order). He'll have to be back on the show at some point for something, right? Right.

Trudy - I missed a fake sword, but I'd love to hear more. I feel like I can usually cobble something together. I guess maybe there could have been potential Katrina magical shenanigans to put in to play, and then Henry went ahead and stabbed his crappy stand-in father, and it was all a con they didn't end up needing. Yet.

Abbie and Jenny totally got taken down too fast by Henry at the church, so a con seemed the thing. Getting captured and taken to Moloch I was even down with, but then when they were all tied to trees, I lost the thread of how this could work out. But, then, magic. Or secret Hawley deployment? January. So close, and yet...

Interesting stuff with Katrina and Abraham.

I missed something somewhere. Did the kid Katrina tried and failed to kill morph into Moloch?

That's what I thought.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I watch the Flash but not the Arrow. Were we supposed to know who the chick was at the end that Oliver spoke to at the coffee shop? I got the impression the kid she was talking to on the phone was probably Ollie's?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You are correct. It's not (yet) a major plot thread on Arrow, just something they've been dangling out there. It's Ollie's kid that he doesn't know about.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ollie's mother paid the girlfriend to tell Ollie she miscarried and then leave town. We learned about it last season, but Ollie doesn't know what his mother did.

OK, thanks.

So much love for that ep even though I'm not all up on Arrow. Little bit in love with Ollie. Loved his, "There's something off about that guy..." walking away from Wells. Yes. Yes there is.

He always was Moloch.
