Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I watch the Flash but not the Arrow. Were we supposed to know who the chick was at the end that Oliver spoke to at the coffee shop? I got the impression the kid she was talking to on the phone was probably Ollie's?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You are correct. It's not (yet) a major plot thread on Arrow, just something they've been dangling out there. It's Ollie's kid that he doesn't know about.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ollie's mother paid the girlfriend to tell Ollie she miscarried and then leave town. We learned about it last season, but Ollie doesn't know what his mother did.

OK, thanks.

So much love for that ep even though I'm not all up on Arrow. Little bit in love with Ollie. Loved his, "There's something off about that guy..." walking away from Wells. Yes. Yes there is.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I missed something somewhere. Did the kid Katrina tried and failed to kill morph into Moloch?

He always was Moloch.

brillig

Well, but he didn't always look like Moloch, right?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Katrina's magical Abraham necklace made her see Moloch as a human rather than a demon -- there was that scene where she was holding the wee baby Moloch, and he looked like a human baby, and the camera panned around and we could see he was a demon baby, and the necklace was glowing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

When he was a "newborn" there was an episode where it was clear that Katrina was seeing a cute little baby instead of the reality of the creepy demon spawn. He aged quickly after that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

SHE'S USELESS.
